Here is a very far from complete list but you have to remember that
1. we worked under a lot of different names in those days
2. very often the film's name was changed several times before they were ever released and then changed again on video.
3. The late 70s and early 80s were rather hazy to many of us who really 'lived" thru the period.
(Drugs were fun, sex wasn't dangerous,"free love" meant guilt free, and there were 4 on premises swing clubs in manhattan alone.
I may be a beat up old man now but I was prime stud meat back then (ok maybe a bit chubby but it just made me more cuddly)

Notable for the fact that it was put on the voting list for a Hugo (the yearly major science fiction award) and that it was the only hardcore porn movie ever shown at a World Science Fiction Convention.

"Directed by Carter Stevens. Odd old porn film. Director Stevens was always looking for a gimmick (like his sex-on-skates Rollerball knock-off, Rollerbabies), and he found one worthy of Barnum in identical twins Brooke and Taylor Young; two slender patrician brunettes. Taylor Young somehow found her way into a 1975 XXX film called reunion, and presumabley got her sister to subsequently join the act. These two young women are strange… they come off as girls from a snooty liberal arts college fallen on hard times. Their sex scenes with each other have a somber quality, but are pretty interesting. The plot contains an inexplicable H. P. Lovecraft supernatural angle that never makes it much past the talking stage. Eric Edwards and the "pilot's wife" from the outstanding MISTY BEETHOVEN airplane girl-girl scene round out the cast

Actually I only acted or did crew work under my real name in non-porn films. In fact the only listing I could find under that name was for "The Sister-in-Law" where they mis spelled my name as Woros. I was actually a line producer and had a small non speaking role as "Producer #2" My Long time Cameraman played "Procucer #1"
which was a speaking role. I don't remember why I gave him more lines than I gave me.

I did get to play a porn director in an Italian film called "Blue Nude" from Euro International and Directed by Luigi Scattini, which I don't think was ever released in the US but which I saw while in France. They dubbed me in with a very nice Basso Profundo voice that set me off in giggles. Luckily I was wearing the same shirt AT the movie that I was wearing IN the movie so the audience realized I wasn't totally crazy laughing to myself like a madman at the wrong part of the film.
PS: film was subtitled in French and dubbed in Italian so I still to this day have no Idea what was going on most of the time.
For the record I was the American Production Manager for the film and only wound up as an actor in the film as a lark. They needed someone to play the Porn director and since I was hiring all the American actors I hired a real porn director to play the part...me.

Interesting Italian exploitation movie from 1977. While waiting for success that never arrives, a young Italian (Gerardo Amato) living in New York works as a tourist guide, a dog walker, and a stripper. He ends up being caught in the allure of the 42nd St porn scene and falls in love with a porn actress (Susan McBain billed her as Susan Elliot). She ends up being killed while making a snuff film. Wild and very entertaining flick that shows some of the seediest areas of New York City back in the 70s. Very raw and realistic film that also includes many true life porn stars of the 70s (Carter Stevens, Susan McBain, Wade Nichols and others...).
Uncut and in Italian without subtitles.

SNUFF

For the Record: I did NOT direct the last 10 minutes of the film "SNUFF". The sequence was filmed at the Studio I owned at the time on 29th Street in New York. I had rented it out to Alan Shakelton, a Producer/Distributor who I was working with on another project. The "real" Director's name for this segment was Simon Nocturn.
